Supports muscle growth and recovery

There is strong evidence indicating protein’s effect on muscle growth and recovery. Scientific experts have concluded that there is a cause and effect relationship between protein intake and muscle growth in combination with exercise. It is also an essential nutrient for muscle repair.

Supports weight management

Higher protein diets support weight management, in part because digesting protein requires more calories than other kinds of macronutrients, making it a calorie-efficient snack. Protein also helps promote feelings of fullness, which can help curb snacking throughout the day. The effect of higher-protein diets on body weight management are thought to be partly due to modulations in energy metabolism, appetite, and energy intake.

Better
ingredients

Our whey protein starts with grass-fed, free-range, hormone-free (read: happy!) cows that roam the emerald green grass of Ireland. These cows produce milk that is then processed into curds (which become cheese) and whey (which is in this tub!). We use a whey isolate, unlike the concentrate that is in most protein powders. Isolate undergoes a process called cross-flow micro-filtration, which separates the protein and creates a purer, higher percentage protein that is lower in lactose, carbohydrates, and fat.
