While more studies are needed to confirm the impact of GABA supplementation, early results are promising. Recently, researchers studied 30 healthy volunteers and found that 50 mg of GABA reduced stress and enhanced performance in subjects who were physically and emotionally stressed.* While synthetic GABA can be produced with harsh chemicals, ours is produced via a fermentation process that utilizes Lactobacillus hilgardii, a beneficial lactic acid bacteria that is used to in the traditional Korean dish kimchi.
